Recipe for Fun!

On one block, write a different emotion on each side. Suggestions: Mad, Happy, Scared, Sad, Silly, Angry. On the other block, write a type of animal on each side. Suggestions: Cat, Dog, Mouse, Lion, Bird, Monkey. Each child takes a turn rolling both dice. They must act out the two words that are face up. For example, if “Sad” and “Monkey” are face up, the child would act out how they think a sad monkey would act! This also serves as a great opening for discussion. What are some good ways to handle sadness? What might make the monkey happy?
