Recipe for Fun!

Make pretend phone calls to your child’s Puppy Salon to schedule your pup (or any other furry stuffed friend) for some pampering. Use the service menu from the free printable template! Have your child write down the appointment time, your name and which service you scheduled for your puppy.

Next, bring your furry stuffed animal friend to the pretend puppy salon. If you would like, pay for your service with play money, and your child can practice counting money and calculating the correct amount of change.

Your child can use cotton balls as pretend soap suds to give their stuffed animal clients a luxurious bath (don't use water or real soap)! Have your child complete the service by “drying” off the dog with a small towel and then use a comb or brush to fluff up fur. For a finishing touch, tie a bandana as a collar. Lookin' spiffy!
