Recipe for Fun!
Play dough stretches more than the imagination. It can also be a lesson in measuring, colors and textures. Here’s how: pour 1 cup of water into a large bowl. Add drops of food coloring into the water and stir. To your colorful water add 4 cups of flour and 1½ cups of salt and stir to blend. Now add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (if the dough still feels dry, add another tablespoon or two of oil). Plop your play dough onto a work surface and knead it to combine everything. Time to set everyone’s inner sculptor free. Store in a tight-closing plastic bag or container.
